Meet the EiE Team: Shannon McManus

2016.02.02_Shannon_McManus_EiE.jpgEiE is seeing meteoric growth in the number of teachers we reach. To support those teachers, we're also growing our professional development offerings. EiE project director Shannon McManus heads the charge to grow our staff and our national network of PD providers.

A former high school physics teacher, Shannon has also worked in the public-sector facilitating stormwater workshops for municipal officials.

Ask Shannon what's the most fun part of her job and she’ll laugh and say, “Meetings! We do have a lot of meetings, but we all have this passion for our shared mission and it creates a fun atmosphere.” Outside of work, Shannon and her husband Jon like to hike around the local pond with their two-year-old daughter, Evelyn.
